Configure Building settings

Customer admin users can set default opening hours and cost per workpoint for buildings in your organization. These are currently used to calculate the data displayed for analytics.

Opening hours

Sets the timeframe for analytics to be captured for your buildings and floors. This can be set at the building level as well as adjusted at the floor level. A wider timeframe for opening hours will generally increase your utilization (more time for a space to experience usage) as well as the average hours occupied per day for your spaces.

Cost per workpoint (annual)
  • Building
Sets the approximate annual cost per workpoint per building. This is used to calculate the total cost of unutilized workpoints for each day a workpoint is not used. $13000 USD
Special hours
  • Building
  • Floor
Sets adjusted opening hours for analytics for certain dates or date ranges for example, to exclude public holidays from analysis None set

 

  1. Navigate to Admin > Organization Settings. You can review all your buildings and their opening hours here.
  2. Click on the building you'd like to adjust opening hours for. This opens the Building page

 

Set Cost per workpoint and building details

  1. Click 'Edit' in the Building details to adjust the Cost per workpoint or building name and address

2. Set the annual cost per workpoint annual in USD or adjust building name and address details 

 

Set Building Opening Hours

  1. Click 'Edit' in the Opening hours section to edit the opening hours

  1. Adjust your building opening hours. Save changes.

Optional - adjust floor opening hours

  1. To alter the opening hours for a specific floor, navigate to the 'Floors' tab
  2. Find the floor and select 'Edit opening hours'

  1. (Optional) Adjust the floor's opening hours and click save

Optional - add special opening hours

Add Special Hours to exclude dates or set adjusted opening hours due to public holiday, company offsite or shutdown periods.

  1. Navigate to the 'Special Hours' tab
  2. Click 'add a date' 

3. Add a name for the special hours, select the floors that it applies to as well as the date / date range for those special hours. Use the time from and time to fields to configure adjusted opening hours or select 'Closed' to close the building during these hours. 

4. Click save changes. 

Your special hours will now show in this list. 

Notify your customer success account manager or leave us a message via the help button so that for any changes we can reprocess your historical data.

Quick tip for quick access to change a building's opening hours, you can also use the 'Edit opening hours' via the Organization settings page.
