Sim Card Requirements

Each XY Sense Primary Hub has a sim card located in the 4G Router. 

 

Adding a Sim Card

1. Ensure you locate the primary hub, this is the one with the wireless 4G Router installed.  (The primary hub will have two holes located in the front of the  enclosure, next to the cable entry frame, so that antennas can be attached to the router through the enclosure).
   
   
2. Locate the sim card tray at the side of the 4G Router.
3. Insert a Sim Card Pin into the pinhole
   
4. The sim card tray will come out
5. Insert the sim card into the tray and push the tray back into place.  Ensure that the sim card is properly in place in the tray, to avoid interference when pushing the tray back into place and damaging the sim card.    

   
   
   Sim Card Requirements

   • A standard size sim card is required
     
     
     
   • A typical sensor uses approx 300MB per month
   
   

   Test to validate the SIM is working

   
   

   To verify the sim card is working correctly, please check the signal strength indicator on the side of the 4G Router
